Take a tour of the Hub’s paranormal history.

As we welcome the season of apple cider, jack-o-lanterns, and spooky movie marathons, join Boston Strolls for some Halloween thrills.  Our holiday stroll is a 90 minute exploration of the odd and eerie tales that have left Bostonians scratching their heads for the past 350 years.

Did you know that America’s first UFO sighting took place over Boston Harbor in 1639?  Would you be surprised to learn that Abraham Lincoln was photographed in a shop on Washington Street in 1869 – four years after his death?  Learn about these, and other unnatural encounters, as we venture off the Freedom Trail for an evening of history and mystery.

When: Boston Unexplained is available by appointment as a group tour.

Where: Tours depart from the Old State House.  Meet your guide under the balcony, which faces State and Congress Streets.

How Much: Adults $15, Youth (under 18) $10, Seniors (over 60) $10

Getting there: The easiest way to find us is on public transportation.  Take the MBTA orange or blue line to State Street station.  The tour ends on Boston Common, so if you choose to drive, the best option for parking is the garage at One Beacon St.

How long: This stroll is about a half mile, and it lasts about 90 minutes.
